Get your first AI agent up and running in minutes. This guide walks you through the essential steps.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- An active InnFuse account (sign up at innfuse.nl)
- A subscription plan with available credits
- At least one communication channel (Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, or Chat Widget)
- Content for your knowledge base (FAQs, product docs, or company information)
Create Your First Agent
Agents are the core of InnFuse. Each agent is an autonomous AI entity with its own personality, skills, and knowledge.
- Go to your dashboard and navigate to Agents.
- Click Create Agent and choose a preset or start from scratch.
- Configure the agent name, model, and system prompt.
- Assign skills and connect the agent to a channel.

| Name | A descriptive name for the agent (e.g., "Customer Support", "Sales Assistant") |
| Preset | Start from a pre-configured template (Support, Sales, Onboarding, Technical, Internal) |
| Model | The AI model that powers this agent (Claude, Mistral, or OpenAI) |
| Skills | Capabilities the agent can use (Knowledge Base Search, CRM Lookup, Calendar, etc.) |
Connect a Channel
Channels are the communication platforms where your agents interact with users. Connect at least one channel to start receiving messages.
Slack
Connect Slack for team-based AI interactions in channels and direct messages.
Microsoft Teams
Integrate with Microsoft Teams for enterprise communication and collaboration.
Enable WhatsApp Business messaging for customer-facing AI conversations.
Chat Widget
Embed the chat widget on your website for instant AI-powered customer interaction.
